cant believe in two weeks we will be celebrating whalebones 50th anniversary! 50 years of bringing so much stoke to the beach…so in turn we are throwing a banger of a birthday. may 26th, from 5-10 we will be partying with the whalebone crew, @matthewloganvasquez of @deltaspirit and all you fine folks that have bought a board, repped a bikini or stolen a bar of wax from one of our oldest surfboard slingin’ shops. bring the family, bring a friend, bring the dog, or just bring yourself, its gonna be a night of good times!

sometimes when the clouds roll in along the atlantic oceans horizon, it looks like our beloved mountains came to say hello….the fall air beckons us west this time with prayers and heavy hearts. as the tragedy of hurricane helene keeps unfolding we are reminded of the many hurricanes to clip our shores and the hands that came together to rebuild. like so many businesses and individuals alike, we are doing what we can to be of service. we have teamed up with the hundreds of breweries and the @ncbrewersguild pouring for neighbors.
our newest collaboration is a sparkling ale brewed with virginia apples and our neighbors @potterscraftcider, and for every pint sold $2 will be donated to relief efforts.

*new can release* sometimes when you go in search of something the search is what you were searching for. hmm, or maybe you did lose your wallet again…but nevertheless the search for it is part of the adventure. but then again, sometimes searching for something leads you right back to the beginning, and yet sometimes it never ends…also searching just to search is what some us went searching for. and in that search you find something that you didn’t even know you were searching for. well anywho, we searched for the perfect recipe to can for crossing the desert in search of an oasis of date palms and beautiful women, but also the best beer for taking a dugout canoe through the panama canal in search of waves on the other side, and better yet the beer for sailing through the straits of gibraltar in search of the greatest slice o pizza….whatever you went looking for know the search is over…we canned it to take home, welcome to the family surf trek, our salted lime blonde. inspired by our love for summer days and the love to never stop searching for new adventures.

inspired by “good to epic” surf conditions. this amber ale clocks in just in time for the fall. brewed with a hefty truck load of pumpkins from the secotan farmers market. We then added pumpkin pie spices and candy pecans from outer banks distilling to make you the finest pumpkin ale to date.

howdy fall, as ready as we may all be for autumn to settle in, we are still holding on to summer. this heres a toast to summer days…brewed up with friends @rarbrew this hazy double ipa will take ya to warmer places. c’stories creamsicle ipa is loaded down with citra n sabro hops then fluffed up with tangerine, vanilla n lactose. lots more brewing this fall, but our line up is pretty dang great…bring a sweater and post up for a few.
